Permanent Jewelry Aftercare Instructions

Follow these care tips to keep your piece(s) beautiful and long-lasting:

1. Keep It Clean

  • To avoid build up, regularly wipe your jewelry using our soft cloth or wash with mild soap with warm water

  • Always thoroughly pat dry after getting wet

2. Avoid Harsh Chemicals

  • Be cautious with cosmetics, perfumes, and lotions around the jewelry as they can cause tarnishing

  • Take extra care when using bleach or other strong cleaning agents

3. Wear With Care

  • Your jewelry is safe in the shower, ocean, and pool—but rinse afterward to remove residue

  • Avoid high-stress activities that could pull or stretch the chain

4. Monitor for Irritation

  • If you notice or experience redness, itching, or discomfort, especially within the first week, consult a us as you may have a metal sensitivity

5. Maintenance Checks

  • Although it's welded, permanent jewelry can still wear over time. Periodically check for signs of stretching or thinning especially at the weld point

6. Professional Removal

  • If you ever need to remove it, do not cut it yourself. Contact us so that we can safely snip it at the weld point and you can save it for possible reattachment in the future
